1. Product Introduction

Rapid Ketamine Test is an immunochromatography based one step in vitro test. It is designed for qualitative determination of ketamine in human urine specimens.

Ketamine is metabolized by N-demethylation to the active metabolite norketamine. Ketamine hydrochloride is a central nervous system depressant and a fast-acting general anesthetic with sedative-hypnotic, analgesic, and hallucinogenic properties. At low doses, users can experience impaired attention, learning ability and memory. In higher doses, KET can cause dreamlike states, hallucinations, delirium, unconsciousness and flashbacks. Habitual use can cause tolerance and cravings for the drug.

Ketamine’s effects typically last for just about an hour, but they can continue for as long as a day, depending on the dose and method of ingestion. Some people just sleep off lower doses of KET, but others may continue experiencing a sense of derealization the day after taking it, especially at high doses. Ketamine can be detected in urine for about two weeks.
